2025 Watershed Watch Earth Day Poster Challenge
Calling all K-8 student artists in Santa Clara Valley! Enter the Watershed Watch Earth Day Poster Challenge to share your creative vision for clean waterways in Santa Clara Valley. Winners from each grade bracket will receive cash prizes: $250 for first place and $150 for second place! Winning artwork will be featured in future social media promotions to help reduce water pollution prevention.

The Santa Clara Valley Green Gardener Online Training
Landscape professionals and gardening pros! Learn integrated pest management, soil management, and irrigation techniques to meet the growing demand for sustainable landscape maintenance expertise. Classes start on February 5, 2024. The training consists of ten two-hour classes on Wednesdays. See registration detail below:
DATES: Wednesdays, February 5, 2024, to April 23, 2024
TIME: 5pm – 7pm
COST: $90 for landscape professionals (with proof of employment); $150 for others

The Watershed Protection Division has developed an activity book for young children to learn about the watershed. Download a copy of the activity book to print at home, or e-mail [email protected] to request a hard copy.
